An Functional Threshold Power FTP assessment is a snapshot of your fitness at any point in time. By measuring your fitness and assigning it a number, we can track changes in your fitness over time and develop a personalized training plan.
POWER THRESHOLD MEASUREMENT
FTP is the highest power (wattage) that you can maintain at a steady effort, for approximately one hour. Your FTP test serves as a baseline measurement of your strength and informs your workouts. At BodymetRx, we also test your VO2 and lactate threshold simultaneously. With this we can pinpoint your efficiency, measure your power at threshold, and customized a training program to increase power at threshold. Formal testing based of a 20 min all out effort, and the test totals 1 hour.
